ST. VINCENT DE PAUL DIABETIC CENTRE HOSPITAL, IRINJALAKKUDA

Diabetic center was started about 30 years ago in 1986 by Rev. Fr. Jose Akkarakkaran, an Irinjalakuda diocesan priest, to give special consideration and treatment to eradicate the diabetic illness among the people. In order to make the people aware of this illness, we conduct medical camps and seminars in different places and make them healthier and productive to the society. Diabetic center has trained doctors and staff who are always ready to treat and cure the illness fully from the patient. Medicines and diabetic food care make the physical healing of the patients but their minds are also getting treated through spiritual guidance. Sisters of St. Martha rendering their selfless services here. Some of facilities given by this institute are, 24 hours open causality, clinical laboratory, x-ray, ECG, diabetic food care, diabetic diet counseling, pharmacy, health education, IP section etc.
